Life is spiced up when your personality is complemented with a dirty mind. And, trust me, you, don’t need to work hard on making sex jokes, all the ingredients you need is a dirty mind and that’s it. All the brands below created a great brand recall through catchy taglines, but when you take a hard look at them, these innocent brand taglines sound different. Let’s dive into the deeper meaning.
Disney: The happiest place on Earth
I agree, the more places you explore, the more it broadens. But, solace lies in the place where desires come to a halt. That’s what Disney meant with this tagline if I’m not wrong.
Ghadi Detergent: Pehle Istemaal kare, phir Vishwaas kare
India is still pretty hush-hush when it comes to pre-marital sex or just sex in general. As evidenced by the fact that people got mad when a condom ad dared to insinuate condoms had something to do with sex.
But if you ever need to justify doing the sambhog with your significant other, there’s nothing better than this tagline. Because when it comes to the person you spend the rest of your life with, vishwas after istamal is only common sense.
FedEx Express: When it absolutely, positively has to be overnight
When I saw this, I swear, the only thing that came to my mind was the hole syllabus that had to be finished overnight and I should be prepared for a fresh new day. Oops! Sorry, I meant ‘whole’.
Yellow Pages: Let your fingers do the walking
If you’re a woman reading this, I bet you’d steer clear of the hard shell if you do not experience the thing. And if you’re not, you better follow the tagline.
AT & T: Reach out and touch someone
The 21st century is all about being open about the things we do. AT and T asks us to reach out to that someone special and savor life to it’s before he/she eludes you.
Tata Sky: Isko laga daala toh life jinga lala
Promotion of ‘Safe Sex’ can never be depicted so decently than this Tata Sky’s tagline. When its all about a night’s matter, why worry about it the next morning? The people of Tata Sky want your life to be ‘jingalala’ with the use of ‘isko’
Alpenlibe: Jee aisi lalchaaye, Raha na jaaye
Not the rapey-est sounding line out there, but definitely one in the top 10. Seriously, it’s like nobody bothered to read these out loud before greenlighting them.
So, remember boys and girls – when your “jee lalchaes”, you have to “raha jaye” or else you land in jail. Unless you’re a minor. Then it’s all cool.
Mac Pro: Beauty Outside, Beast Inside
Never trust those people whose beautiful faces show you a bunch of innocence when you try to flirt with them. They just want you to get hold of their catchphrase and the beast inside the beauty is all yours.
Maxwell House: Good to the last drop
For all the C lovers out there, you need not worry as your tipped cup with drops coming from it has a shield now to shed all your worries. Savor the last drop to the best, but not the glue.
Precision Drilling: Your hole is our Goal
This is the only one which is right up to my alley. I don’t understand why you people search for a double meaning in everything. Precision Drilling wants to say how focussed they’re towards the hole and nothing else.
The above brand taglines stood alone and represented the brand without even stating the brand’s name. While some can impel you to be better, do more, or go further, others are simply a fun play on words. Want a catchy tagline for your brand as well? We’re just a call away.
